Atco Lawnmowers
Atco, or
Atlas Chain Company was
formed more than eighty years
ago back in 1921. Atco's first product was a 22 inch open frame
lawnmower,
which was extremely
heavy and cumbersome by modern standards. They proved extremely popular
in the 1920's, 900 were sold nationwide primarily by travelling
salesmen.
Today, Atco sell a quality range of both electric and petrol
lawnmowers, with
both rotary and cylinder designs. Many Atco models feature the
innovative Quick Exchange (QX) system, which allows the cylinder
blades to be effortlessly removed for replacement or maintainence.
The blade cylinder can also be replaced with
a scarifier cylinder. Transforming
the lawnmower into a lawn raker in seconds. The lawn raker option is
great for clearing litter, dead leaves, and other unwanted debris.
