The Flymo Hover Compact 300 is extremely lightweight, very manoeuvrable, and powerful at cutting through the longest of vegetation. Being a hover mower, it's particularly suitable for medium sized lawns which feature a steep bank or hillside.
Developed more than 40 years ago, the hover mower design creates a cushion of air which the lawnmower base floats on. No wheels allow the lawnmower to be easily operated in any direction.
A 20 litre grass box is attached to the rear of the Flymo Hover Compact 300, which is easily removed for emptying. In addition, the grass box also features a full indicator, making it clear to see when an emptying trip is required.
Lifting and transporting the Flymo Hover Compact 300 is easy, weighing just 7.6kg means there's no danger of back strain.
The Flymo Hover Compact 300 also includes: A 30 cm cutting width, maximising the cutting area, and maintaining good manoeuvrability. Four adjustable cutting heights, giving you the flexibility to achieve the perfect length of cut, and a 12 metre cable length, providing sufficient reach for most medium sized gardens.

Is difficult to use and my machine will not collect any grass - just sprays it about the garden!

Worst hover I have ever owned! Mid a summer grass cut the motor started to make some funny noises (the mower was approximately a year old); as I shut the power down to investigate further smoke began to billow from the motor housing, this was promptly followed by flames from the vents that started to melt the housing (considering its orange it looked rather like a volcano spewing lava!) and died a slow "hot" death - waste of money, DO NOT buy it! Now buy Bosch.
