The Flymo LC400PD is almost identical to the LC400 model, but features a rear drive self propelled system, as opposed to a manual push design. This requires less physical effort by the operator, but does require more skill to manoeuvre.

As a result of the self propelled design, the Lawnchief 400 PD is more suitable for large sized lawns.

The last thing you need when mowing your lawn, is to be running around emptying the grass every 5 minutes. This shouldn't be an issue with the Flymo LC400PD, its 40 litre grass box is sufficient for most medium and large sized gardens.

In addition, the powerful 3.5hp Briggs & Stratton petrol engine, featured on the Flymo LC400PD, is very efficient at slashing through long vegetation and weeds. Providing 2600 watts of power at maximum RPM.

Cutting heights are adjustable between 2.5cm and 5.5cm, making the Flymo LC400PD capable of delivering your required grass length.

The handles also fold away, making the LC400PD easy to store.
