Where Can I Buy The MOW N VAC?

Flymo MOW N VAC Description

Another budget hover mower from Flymo, the Mow n Vac has the bonus of featuring a 15 litre grass collection system, good for small lawns only.

The Flymo Mow n Vac has a 900 watt electric motor, which drives the plastic cutting blade, and provides the air flow to allow the lawnmower to hover over the grass. alternative metal blades will cut more effectively, but the plastic blade keeps weight to a minimum.

The 15 litre grass box should provide plenty of capacity for most small sized gardens, generally only requiring only one emptying trip to finish the job, obviously depending on the exact size of your lawn. There's a unique switch system for easy use, with either left or right hands. There are also 2 cutting heights to choose from, giving you some flexibility on the finished cut length between 1cm and 3.3cm.

In addition, a 10 metre length electric cable provides sufficient reach around the garden.

The Flymo Mow n Vac should definitely be considered if you're a domestic home gardener on a budget, with a small sized lawn. If you have a large lawn however, which is particularly overgrown, the Mow n Vac is not so suitable.

Flymo MOW N VAC User Reviews

This is truly awful. Apart from the problems with the plastic blades. Get the box half full and the thing becomes back heavy. So, when you pull the machine towards you, it digs into the ground and the box comes off spilling the clippings all over the lawn. I really want to swear hard. It cannot cope with summer dew. Awful machine.

The blades come out / snap. The blade mount has become detached from the motor, it struggles with longer grass and any uneven parts of lawn. Better off spending more on a metal bladed mower as this is costing me £5 a month in spares!

what a complete waste of time a chocolate fire guard is better, the blades keep coming out and you have to hunt them down in ur garden.it doesnt cut properley more like it rips the grass out.will be throwing it away total crap

A complete waste of money. The lowest cut setting is a joke as it merely cuts the tips off 3" long grass. The single handle is a strong candidate for the worst design award as it makes a very poor mower difficult to use. No more Flymo products for me.

This is an awful mower, it is hard work to use as you can only use one hand, it takes ages to mow my customers postage stamp sized lawn because you keep having to go over it again and again to cut the bits the useless plastic blades miss. I was using an old Flymo before with a metal blade and it did a much better job in half the time. (shame it broke)

Save your money buy a pair of scissors it will be quicker and neater. Absolute rubbish who ever though plastic blades would be a good idea??? I will NEVER buy another Flymo product.

The Mow n vac is great for my little lawn in the yard of my terraced streethouse. Although the large brick wall fences between neighbours echo the sound and seems very loud when using. However it is of great use and value for money. My yard is just concrete but my lawn is grown on a wood built platform filled with soil.

I didn't like this one at all. The handle is awkward putting all the weight on one hand/wrist. It doesn't cut particularly well and the lowest setting doesn't seem to cut low enough. Finally, the plastic blades do not last long and soon become blunt, therefore not giving a clean cut. All in all, save you money and buy something else.
