Where Can I Buy The PANTHER 30?

Qualcast PANTHER 30 Description

The push-along Qualcast Panther 30 is the most economical cylinder lawnmower Qualcast offer. With a cutting width of 30cm, a grass box capacity of 20 litres and the advantage of cordless usage.

If you have a relatively small garden, the Qualcast Panther 30 is ideal, especially if an outdoor power supply is a problem.

Qualcast Panther 30 (rear)As the mower is pushed along, the wheels drive gears which rapidly spin the cylinder mechanism, shearing the grass in a scissor-like motion. Weighing in at just 6.5kg means using the Qualcast Panther 30 doesn't strain your back and arms. The Panther 30 also has a compact design, making it easy to store away.

Qualcast Panther 30 (side)Whether you require a short cut, or want to leave some length on your lawn, the Qualcast Panther 30 should fit the bill. The cutting height is adjustable from 1.2cm to 4cm, allowing you to achieve the desired length. In addition, the Panther 30 also features a rear roller, perfect for stability when creating a beautifully striped lawn.

In summary, the Panther 30 is ideal for small sized lawns where a short cylinder cut is preferred and manoeuvrability is required. It's a great basic hand mower for the domestic gardener, and safe enough for the kids to earn their pocket money! It has the advantages of cordless usage and is extremely light to carry and push around. If however, your lawn is large and overgrown, the Panther 30 is not so suitable. The cylinder mechanism tends to just flatten very thick vegatation rather than cutting it.

All Qualcast Panther 30 models come with a two year parts and labour guarantee, from the manufacturers.

Qualcast PANTHER 30 User Reviews

After two years on very small lawn, blades gradually began to catch against the axle! Now it is completely stuck. Why!? There is nothing to adjust that will change this. Norma Stitts - I am a physiotherapist and rock climber and must be in the top 1% for motor functioning, and you must have a different model, this mower is second rate.

Bought Qualcast after the one I'd had for 10 years finally died. I should add that it was given to me third hand after several years of use by other people who only got rid of it when they moved to houses with much larger lawns. This new one immediately felt more flimsy and had less "oomph". Feels too light to keep blades in place. Adjusting cutting height is fiddly and time consuming. It's very noisy and does not cut well. Hard to push as keeps sticking. Now 1 wheel has stuck completely and cylinder won't turn. Tried everything to get wheel off to fix it but no use. VERY disappointing.

Rubbish! Lowest cutting height impossible to push! Next height up does not even trim the top of 3" grass, waste of time, money and effort

Excellent mower which delivers great results. One can only imagine that the poor reviews on here have been submitted by imbeciles with motor function problems.

Absolute rubbish. Bought two months ago and despite adjusting the cutting height several times (you have to do this with a spanner) it still does not cut my grass. Back to using a ten year old flymo, which is ten times better. Do not buy this product!

Fantastic value and amazing cut everytime. To add Wimbledon tennis court stripes place some weight in the grass box so that this is dragged behind the mower. The results are outstanding.
