Ladies and gentlemen, summer is fast approaching, imagine those long, warm evenings for a second, imagine lazing around in the sun, entertaining guests around a sizzling barbeque... Stop. Now jump back to reality. The garden currently looks more like a mini Brazilian rainforest than anything resembling a perfect lawn.
Fear not. The Qualcast Suffolk Punch 12 will come to the rescue. Featuring an efficient 340 watt electric motor, adjustable cutting heights of 1cm to 3.5cm, a heavy steel rear roller bar for those perfect stripes, a long 22.5 metre cable, and of course the Qualcast Quick Exchange (QX) system.
In a matter of seconds the Qualcast Suffolk Punch 12 transforms from a powerful electric lawnmower, into an efficient lawn raker, simply by swapping the cutting cylinder with a scarifier reel. The lawn raker setup is excellent for clearing dead leaves, litter, and other unwanted debris. Remember, a tidy lawn means a healthy lawn!
Small to medium sized lawns are best suited to the Qualcast Suffolk Punch 12 specification, a larger lawn would be better suited to a petrol alternative such as the Suffolk Punch 14SK or Suffolk Punch 17SK.

I own one of the larger petrol Suffolks and bought this as a back-up machine to use on smaller areas of lawn. A very attractive little mower which is easy to use and gives a good finish. As with all the mowers from this family, build quality is fairly lightweight and it needs to be used with care to avoid damage to the blade and/or drive mechanism. This can be expensive to rectify! It is suitable for flat lawns in good condition rather than uneven lawns with tree roots, stones, etc. A good machine which will perform reliably if handled carefully.
