Whether it's a compulsive fear of electrical cables, a love of petrol engines, or simply just a lawn that requires a fine cut, the Qualcast Suffolk Punch 14SK should meet your requirements.
The Suffolk Punch 14SK is the first, of two Qualcast petrol models, powered by a 3hp 'easy start' low emission Kawasaki petrol engine. The main advantage it has over the electric Qualcast Suffolk Punch 12 is wireless usage, meaning it's great for large, remote lawns with no need for a power supply.
The Qualcast Suffolk Punch 14SK also offers more power than its electric equivalent, effortlessly gliding across the longest and thickest grass. The Suffolk Punch 14SK features the innovative Quick Exchange (QX) system. The QX system allows the blade cylinder to be removed quickly and easily, and replaced with a Scarifier cylinder. Transforming the lawnmower into a lawn raker in seconds. The lawn raker option is great for clearing litter, dead leaves, and other unwanted debris.
Cutting heights are adjustable on the Suffolk Punch 14SK, from 1cm to 3.4cm. This makes it simple to achieve the desired grass length. The cutting width is 35cm to cover more grass in a single pass.
A heavy steel rear roller is fitted at the rear, to create the perfect striped lawn.
The Qualcast Suffolk Punch 14SK also comes with a Three year parts, and two years labour guarantee.

these mowers are designed for a good quality flat lawn if people visited a mower shop rather than buy online you hopefully would of been advised of this.
for the price and for the fact you can turn it into a scarifier in the right situation its a good machine especially now its fitted with a kawasaki engine which will/should start first time

I've had one for 4 summers. I've given it 3 stars because I know how fine it can be, I've seen it in action. However that was on a nice flat lawn and in such a case I do recommend it. However I'm not lucky enough to have a proper lawn, just grass that seems to grow at different rates. So it has to be a quality rotary for me, sadly.

Not really happy with it at all to be honest. On longer grass it leaves patches flattened rather than mowed, so is more effort than its worth. Agree with Mike that it would be suitable to maintain a high quality flat lawn, but on your average bumpy lawn its much less effective and a cheaper hover/rotary would be better. I have to use my old rotary to get the levels right before thinking about using this mower.

hmmm, not super impressed after being taken in by it's clasic pedigree and traditional lines. starts ok, not first time every time though. The cut is good but its a bit of a pig to drive if you have any bumps or lumps in the lawn. Basically ideal for maintaining a high quality lawn, but not great for getting there.
