Safety Advice for operating a lawnmower
For electrical lawnmowers, an RCD
(Residual Current Device) circuit breaker is very important. This
device can detect surges in power when cables are damaged, and
immediately cuts the power supply. A potential life saver.
When mowing your lawn, please wear strong foot ware to help avoid feet
injuries.
If it's raining, or if the weather conditions suggest it might start
raining, please don't use your electrical lawnmower. Wait until the
rain has stopped, and the grass has completely dried.
Before starting to mow, walk around your garden clearing any debris and
litter, such as stones, metal objects, or garden toys.
Ensure young children are at a safe distance when using powerful garden
equipment.
If your lawnmower becomes blocked, or requires cleaning, please unplug
the power supply before going near the cutting mechanism, and take
special care.
